How Does the O-Shot work?
HOW DOES THE O-SHOT® WORK?
The O-Shot® of Southern Utah, uses PRP to improve vaginal lubrication, urinary incontinence and sexual function.
What is PRP actually? Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) is separated from the patient’s own blood using a centrifuge. Activation of the PRP results in release of at least 8 different growth factors that would normally be used to heal injured tissue. These growth factors work by increasing collagen, elastin, new blood vessels, improves the blood flow and creates new nerve endings. work like magic go increase collagen and elastin, promote angiogenesis (or the formation of new blood vessels), improve blood flow, and promote formation of new nerve endings.

I came in to get the O-Shot because I had tried everything else including; numerous surgeries, collagen injections... all to no avail. The doctors told me that I was at the end of my treatment options and I would just have to "deal with it". I was so depressed, I came in feeling so awful. I felt ugly and thought that this too would probably be a waste of money getting the O-shot, however I had nothing to lose. I was wearing 8 large pads a day for my urinary incontinence.
